こんなに近くに住んでいたのに

行っていなかった、宮古島！

ずっと行ってみたかった宮古。

とうとう行く機会にめぐまれぶらり旅へ出かけました。

Even I'm living really close to this island, I'd never been there, Miyako island.

I really wanted to go to this island, and finally I got  chance to go.

２泊３日の旅。

まずは１日目をご紹介。

昼頃に到着したので

ひとまず腹ごしらえ。

暑い夏にはぴったり

"まなつのスパイスカフェ茶音間（ちゃのま）”にランチへ。

夏空にぴったりの爽やかなたたずまい。

どんなカフェなのかな？

Nice, summery looking cafe which fits to the blue sky. What kind of cafe inside?

入るといきなりの男子率の高さにびっくり。

スタッフさんも全員男子、お客さんまで。

ちゃのま、のネーミング通り、お茶の間のようにはだしで座るスタイル。

暑さから解放されて気持ちいい！

食欲をそそるスパイスのいい香りが漂います。

As soon as we opened the door, so many boys inside!

All the staff were men, even customers.

"CHANOMA" is traditional Japanese living room which usually Japanese family eats, sid down and chat comfortably. So their style is take off shoes and sit on the floor confortably like Japanese chanoma. 

In the cafe, nice spice smell all over and that made us hungry.

私は２種類のカレーのランチを頼みましたが

これまた、本格派で美味しい！

インドでよく食べていたターリーを思いおこさせてくれました。

辛さは付け合わせのスパイスでも調整できて

辛すぎるのが苦手な私にはぴったりでした。

I ordered 2 kinds curry lunch, and it was really good! This lunch reminds me real thali I use to eat in India.

そして、もちろん宮古島といえば

美しい海。

この透明度．．．．本当に綺麗でため息が出てしまいます。

Miyako is famous for the beautiful ocean. Hope you can imagine how clear the water is here.....sooooo beautiful.

ここは池間大橋を渡って池間島。

顔を水につけたらすぐに魚達に会えます。

”フナスク”とよばれるシュノーケルポイントですが

砂浜も真っ白でふわふわ。

とにかく綺麗で綺麗で離れがたい場所でした。

This is Ikema Island. You can cross the ikema bridge and come here.

As soon as you put your face to the ocean, you can see the beautiful fish!

１日の終わりに美しい夕焼け。
